Is there any onsen or supermarket near the hostel ? |

There are several onsens. The nearest one is Jyuro-no-yu, about 20 min
walk.
The others takes about 10 min by car, a convenience store ( 15 min walk
), small shop( 10 min walk ),supermarket( 7 min by car). |

Do I need to bring my YHA card ? |

No, you don't. We are not a youth hostel. We are the independent hostel. |

Do you have ski or snowboard equipments rental
and how much ? |

No we do not, but we can arrange ski or snowboard rental (you can get 20%
discount) and you will pick up equipments near the ski hill.
This season prices (discounted) as below.
* Ski, boots and pole 2520yen/day , 4720yen/2days
* Snow board and boots 2520yen/day , 4720yen/2days
* Wears ,Gloves, Goggles, also available
Also they have long term discount prices. |

How can I get to all the ski resorts in Hakuba (Goryu, 47, Happo-one, Tsugaike) |

To Goryu & 47 --- Itfs 8min walk from our hostel.
* Discount Lift Pass available at our reception
|
|
|
|
1 Day Lift Pass : 4,800yen ---> 4,300yen
2 Day Lift Pass : 8,500yen ---> 7,800yen |

We have a bus to Happo-one ski resort for Mon,Wed,Fri.
Also to Cortina ski resort for Tue,Thur.
But a buses are not all seaon,please ask us when you arrive.
Or
To Happo-one --- take a train to JR Hakuba sta and change to shuttle bus
(free) to Happo-one Gondola station.
To Tsugaike --- Take a Train to JR Hakuba Sta and change to bus (540yen/one
way) to Tsugaike kogen |

Yes,we know few english speaking skiing and snowboarding lessons.
But they have limited staff.
Contact us as soon as possible,if you would like to take a lesson.
Group lessons,(this prices are cheapest company in Hakuba Goryu)
They have 4 types of courses for first time skiers/beginners(skied before)/intermediate skiers/advanced skiers.
ZFull day course (2 hours in the morning & 2 hours in the afternoon)
10,000-yen/p
ZHalf day course (2 hours ) 5,000-yen/p
Also private lessons are there. |
