| By train |
Route 1 (Easiest way. But number of train might be limited.)
Please take JR Ltd express "Odoriko踊り子" or "Super View
Odorikoスーパービュー踊り子" bound for Shimoda, and get off at Ito
station.
Route 2 (Recommended for JR Pass holder)
Take a Shinkansen to Atami熱海 station, and change to "JR Ito Line"
and get off at "Ito" station.
(JR Pass is accepted by Ito station.)
※Please note : If you try to catch Shinkansen, please catch "KODAMA".
Most of "Hikari" and" Nozomi" skip Atami station.
Travel hours - 2 hours

Please take a Shinkansen to "Atami 熱海" station and change to
"JR Ito Line",
and get off at "Ito" station.
Travel hours from Kyoto station to Atami station - 2 to 2,5 hours , Atami
sta to Ito sta - 20mins
※Please note : If you try to catch Shinkansen, please catch "KODAMA".
Most of "Hikari" and" Nozomi" skip Atami station.
※If you are coming from Osaka, or Hiroshima, please catch "Hikari"
first,
and get off at "Nagoya" station, to change "Kodama".
(This saves time rather than catching "Kodama" from Hiroshima
or Osaka)
