Can I reserve a rental bicycle in advance？

Answer

No, rental bicycles can not be reserved in advance. They are available on a first come first serve basis from 8:00am every morning.

When renting bicycles, you can enjoy cycling around Kawaguchiko Lake takes about a few hours, and trail is almost flat:)
You can have a nice and refreshing breeze,and view some wild birds. and some nice cafes offer you great coffees and cakes after it!

Question 2

Can I climb Mt.Fuji?

Answer

During climbing season(around Jyly to September), you can enjoy Mt.Fuji safely.
Mt.Fuji is the highest mountains in Japan(3776m), therefore you need some equippment to enjoy safely!
We are happy to help to book mountain hut, etc.

Something you need to know before climbing Mt. Fuji

Question 3

Do you have a parking lot？

Answer

Yes, we do have a parking lot for a maximum of 3 vehicles and a reservation is required in advance.
If there is no parking space available at the hostel, we will inform you about other free parking lots nearby.

Question 4

Is there a convenience store or hot spring bath nearby？

Answer

There is a public onsen (natural hot spring bath) nearby and discount coupons are available at the hostel.
There is a 5 mins walk to a convenience store, supermarket and restaurants

Is it possible to see Mt.Fuji from the hostel？

Answer

Unfortunately it is not possible to see Mt.Fuji from the hostel.
However, you can view Mt.Fuji from a few steps outside of the hostel! and 5 minute-walk takes you to Kawaguchiko lake for relax:)

Free shampoo, conditioner & body soap are provided in all showers & bathrooms.
Bath towels can be rented from reception for 100yen. Toothbrushes & other toiletries can be purchased for 150yen each.

Can I check-in after the reception has closed ?

Answer

Reception closes at 20:00. It is possible to arrange room key left for you after 20:00 , but it is necessary to inform us in advance.
The security code to enter the hostel changes regularly, so we will need to inform you of the code before your arrival if you plan to check-in after 20:00. Please come to the reception with your passport(s) between 8am and 11am tomorrow moring for your check-in.

Yes, we do have lockers for valuables. Guests can use their own padlocks or free rental padlocks are available at reception.
We can also keep your valuables at reception or our storage room.

Can you hold my luggage before check-in time ?

Answer

Yes, we can hold your luggage from 8:00am until you check-in (between 15:00pm-20:00pm).

Do you provide any food？

Answer

No, we do not provide any food however you are free to use our guest kitchen at any time.
Cutlery, cooking utensils, basic seasonings, microwave etc. are all available in our guest kitchens. Free coffee & tea is also provided. Alcohol and soft drinks can be purchased from our vending machine.

Do you have any childrens' rates？

Answer

No, we do not have any childrens' rates, however children aged 6 years and under may stay free of charge if they share a bed with a parent (children aged 6 years and under may not stay in dormitory rooms).
