Closure Announcement of K’s House Hakuba Alps
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your support of K’s House Hakuba.
Please be informed that our hostel permanently closed in August 2025 due to various circumstances.
Since our opening in 2006, we have been truly honored to welcome many wonderful guests from all over the world. We deeply appreciate your warm support over the years and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this sudden announcement may cause.
Although K’s House Hakuba has closed, our other K’s House hostels (Tokyo, Kyoto, Mt. Fuji, Ito Onsen, and more) continue to welcome travelers. We would be delighted to see you again at one of our other locations in the future.

Reservations
Reservations can be made through our reservation form.
Please have your credit card information ready when you make your reservation.
Please read our FAQ before you make your reservation.
- We accept reservations as below, we accept reservations for the winter season (December - March) from July,April and May from December,green seson(July-October) from April.
- Guests that arrive after 20:00pm or 19:30pm may not check-out before 8:00am the following morning.
- VISA, MasterCard, credit cards accepted.
- Linens included in room rates.
- Children aged 6 years and under may not stay in dormitory rooms.
- Long stay discount : (dormitory rooms only)

6 nights or longer - 10% discount
15 nights or longer - 15% discount
30 nights or longer - 20% discount - Reception hours 8:00-11:00 & 15:00-20:00,7:30-11:00 & 15:00-19:30 for winter season(Dec - early May)
- Check-in time is 15:00-20:00 or 19:30, Check-out time is 11:00.

After submitting the reservation form we will reply within 48 hours.
But we will reply later than expected when we close the hostel.Also we can not answer the phone.
If your requested room is available we will send you a confirmation mail.
If your requested room is unavailable we will reply about room availability.
If you do not receive a response, please contact us directly by email.
Cancellation Policy

We require 72 hours notice of cancellation or any changes to your reservation prior to your scheduled arrival otherwise we will charge you a cancellation fee as below(Japan time).
* For reservations cancelled by three days before the scheduled check-in date, there will be no cancellation charge.
* For reservations cancelled by two days before the scheduled check-in date,the cancellation charge will be 30% of the fee for the first night.
* For reservations cancelled by the day before the scheduled check-in date, the cancellation charge will be 50% of the fee for the first night.
* For reservations cancelled on the scheduled check-in date the cancellation charge will be 100% of the fee for the first night.
*In cases where guests who have booked multiple nights of not show up for their first night and we receive no contact(no-show), the remaining nights will be cancelled and the guest will be charged 100% of the total booking.
Additional conditions may apply for reservations for groups of 8 people or more.Also more than 3 rooms booking.
This conditions apply for groups,even if booking name is different.

We require 7 days notice of cancellation or any changes to your reservation prior to your scheduled arrival,
otherwise we will charge you a cancellation fee as below(Japan time).

about your cancellation or any changes by 7 days before your scheduled arrival.* 50% of your total amount will be charged if you do not notify us
about your cancellation or any changes by 4 days before your scheduled arrival.* 100% of your total amount will be charged if you do not notify us
about your cancellation or any changes by 2 days before your scheduled arrival day or in the event of a 'no show'.
