Do you know Goshuin? (御朱印) Goshuin is proof that you have been to shrine or temple.
The name of shrine or temple that you visited and the date are written on Goshuincho.
Goshuin has different designs for each shrine and temple. It is cool!
Step1 : Get the Goshuin-Cho (= Goshuin Stamp Book)
Step2 : Pray at the shrine or temple
Goshuin is proof that you have prayed at that place.
So pray shrine or temple before you get the Goshuin.
==The way to pray==
Just Open the Goshuin-Cho and pass it to the staff.
They will write the beautiful stamp for you.
*Almost shrines & temples open 9am - 4pm.
Step 4 : Pay money and Say Thank you.
The price of the stamp is said to be based on “your own feeling” .
But nomally Japanese people pay 300JPY - 500JPY for one stamp.
Don't forget to say thank you in Japanese. "Arigatou Gozaimasu!"
